What began as a vision for modern, state-of-the-art veterinary care has grown into a full-service veterinary hospital and boarding facility, serving Mobile and surrounding areas. 

Throughout our growth, we’ve remained committed to ensuring pets and their families receive individual attention and customized treatment plans in a comfortable, caring environment.

Dr. Alex Hughes

Veterinarian

 Dr. Alex Hughes grew up in Gulf Shores, Alabama, with deep roots throughout Baldwin County. She developed a passion for animals from early on. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of South Alabama, where she was actively involved in the Jaguar Marching Band and served as Head Drum Major. She later earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. 

Dr. Hughes is passionate about providing comprehensive care for a wide variety of species, including dogs, cats, and selecting exotic animals such as small mammals, reptiles, and birds. Her professional interests include dentistry, family medicine, and preventative care, with a focus on supporting lifelong health and wellness for her patients. 

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hughes resides in Fairhope with her husband, Timothy, and their four dogs: Cookie, Riley, Chloe, and Roman. She is proud to serve the Mobile community and enjoys building lasting relationships with the families she cares for.

Dr. Maegan Pitts

Veterinarian

Dr. Maegan Pitts grew up near Birmingham, Alabama. She pursued her education at Auburn University, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. 

Dr. Pitts has a strong interest in reproductive services, surgery, and dermatology. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with her clients and patients. She works closely with pet owners to develop diagnostic and treatment plans that support both patient health and family needs. 

Outside the clinic, Dr. Pitts lives in Mobile with her husband, Tyler, and their dog, Nemo. She enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
